I'm packing up the car for a trip away, combining business and pleasure, and of course knitting! As I'm away for three weeks, I need a demanding new project, so it's time for me to tune into my greys, blues and beiges from Wonderwool Wales. I'll be knitting up the epic Jazz shawl designed by Belinda Harris-Reid of The Knitting Hotel - a beautiful flowing design which finishes up at nearly 4 metres long!
That's it in the first picture above, dominating the stall, and knitted there in cream, beige and a grey/beige. I'm going for more a more muted colourway as you can see from the middle picture below - a mid toned grey/beige, a lighter oatmealy beige, and a variegated delight from Wrigglefingers. They are all sock weight yarns, but plied differently so it will be interesting to see how they knit up. Itchy fingers!
